About Us

GMB Consultancy Ltd is a structural engineering practice based in Nottingham.

GMB was founded by Giovanni Barbieri, who has extensive experience providing structural design for domestic and commercial buildings.

He started his career in Italy working for one of Sicily's leading structural and civil engineering companies. After moving to the UK in 2014, he worked for another leading firm providing high quality structural design for important clients accross the country, before opening his own practice.

At GMB we support architects, developers, industrial contractors, civil engineering contractors and property owners to deliver efficient structural designs.

We offer a highly integrated approach to our work, carrying out structural calculations as well as structural surveys. Our engineers have extensive experience in structural design and will be able to provide you with the most effective solution to your project.
